DARIEN, Conn. – Chyten Educational Services, a nationally recognized student tutoring and test preparation company, officially opened a new office in Darien on Friday at 1063 Post Road.
Established in 1984, Chyten bills itself as “a place where students could earn better test scores and grades, but where they would be encouraged to reach, dream, hope and aspire higher.”
Chyten focuses on proprietary SAT and ACT test prep and college counseling, which can help students successfully get into their top-choice schools.
The Darien office is located on the second floor, above Panera Bread. On Friday, several officials welcomed the company to town with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, including state Sen. Bob Duff (D-25) and State Rep. Terrie Wood (R-141).
