DANBURY, CONN. -- The Connecticut Department of Labor is hosting a career fair in Danbury on Friday for job-seekers.
The fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 13 at the Ethan Allen Hotel in Danbury.
There is no cost for job seekers to attend, and parking is free. The fair will include area employers, professional resume writers from the state Labor Department to assist with resume development and employment workshops offering tips and information on finding new jobs or changing careers.
“With more than 15 years of experience in providing job and career fair services to our residents, the Labor Department is recognized as a leader in offering well‐organized events that attract quality companies looking to expand their work force,” Labor Commissioner Sharon Palmer in a said statement.
“Each fall, our career fair series attracts thousands of job seekers and hundreds of businesses looking to make an employment connection. Since 1997, we have been dedicated to providing quality fairs, and earning the distinction of organizing some of this state’s most successful recruiting events.”
