Darien Resident Named Board President Of Association for Corporate Growth

DARIEN, Conn. – Mark Campbell has been elected President of the Board of Directors of the Association for Corporate Growth's Connecticut Chapter.

Campbell’s term as president is from June 2015 through June 2017.

“I am honored and humbled to be selected as president of ACG Connecticut’s Board of Directors,” said Campbell in a press release. "During my nearly ten-year involvement with ACG, I’ve seen this organization evolve into a leading and vital strategic networking association benefiting many middle-market Connecticut businesses.”

Campbell, of Darien, became a partner in BlumShapiro’s Litigation Services and Business Valuation Group in 2013. He provides privately held companies and business owners with valuation services for shareholder disputes, buy/sell agreements, mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, gifting interests, estate planning and taxation, and matrimonial dissolutions, according to a press release.

Campbell received a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1992, majoring in accounting. He received a Juris Doctorate and Masters in Business Administration (with a concentration in taxation) from Pace University in 1997 and 2002, respectively.

Campbell is a member of the American Society of Appraisers, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Connecticut and Fairfield County Bar Associations and serves as treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Stepping Stones Museum for Children.
