Edward Tunick, owner of the Noroton Heights Shopping Center business, is selling the remaining inventory items for discount prices of 50 percent to 70 percent off.

The full-service men’s specialty store also includes a variety of women’s accessories.

Tunick announced his plans to retire in November, and said in a press release that customers have been coming in regularly to thank him for his time in Darien.

“While it is wonderful to hear the many heartfelt comments - especially how the store will be sorely missed, it is also very bittersweet,” Tunick said.

“When I opened the store in October 1976, I never expected that it would become such a key part of the community and be missed by so many people. But it's a great feeling to know that I, and the store, have had a positive influence and made a difference. All I can say is, thank you for such a great run – 38 years!”

Edward Tunick – Men’s Clothier is located at 340 Heights Road, Darien.
