Nod Hill Brewery is hosting its grand opening Saturday, Oct. 28 from noon to 9 p.m. -- and all are invited.
The new Ridgefield business will feature seven beers available for flights, pours, and growler fills as well as barbecue items from Hoodoo Brown. (Food will be served from 1 to 6 p.m.).
"It has been well over a year in the making for us, so we are beyond thrilled to finally open our doors and see our dream come to fruition,” said Co-Owner David Kaye.
A creatively designed menu of brews will include a pale ale, IPA, double IPA, Porter and Trappist-inspired single and double ales. There will also be a gravity cask of coffee porter.
With an old-school building design combined with the cozy pub-like atmosphere of the taproom, the brewery is set to be a welcoming space for friends and family alike. Added Kaye: “Our guiding principles have been to make the kind of beer we love to drink and hold our brewing process to the highest standards.
"We are excited to bring something fresh, unique, and fun to our community.”
Nod Hill will also be open Sunday, Oct. 29, from noon to 5 p.m.
After the opening weekend, regular hours will be Thursdays from 4 to 8 p.m.; Fridays from noon to 8 p.m.; Saturdays noon to 9 p.m.; and Sundays noon to 9 p.m.
