DARIEN, Conn. — A new Jaguar Land Rover retailer in the United States has opened at a brand new dealership in Darien on the Post Road.
The new 36,600-square-foot retail center was opened by Penske Automotive Group under the new British luxury car maker’s global ARCH design standards.
The new Jaguar of Darien and Land Rover of Darien dual-branded facility combines the two storied brands – Jaguar and Land Rover.
The new Jaguar Land Rover Centre features a 10-car showroom, a 25-bay service/detail workshop, and a drive-through reception area that offers in-lane service diagnostics.
“We are thrilled to be the first Jaguar Land Rover retailer in the United States to complete the new global ARCH design standards for these two iconic brands,” said Roger S. Penske, chairman of Penske Automotive Group. “Our new facility offers customers a distinct and modern environment and focuses on delivering an experience that is representative of each brand.”
Also featured at the Darien dealership is a Jaguar Land Rover boutique with the latest accessories, wheels and brand merchandise.
Designed according to the new Jaguar Land Rover global ARCH retail design standards, the Darien dealership is distinguished by a modern sunshine gray rectangular façade; clean simple lines and dedicated Jaguar and Land Rover showrooms.
Every ARCH facility will showcase the expanded Jaguar and Land Rover lineups and will prominently feature elements of glass, walnut and sophisticated lighting to give the space a fresh and luxurious feel. A majority of the retail network is expected to be completed under the new design by 2020, with a retailer investment of $1.5 billion.

The Jaguar Land Rover Centre in Darien marks Penske Automotive Group’s fourth Jaguar Land Rover retail centre in the U.S., with an additional seven Jaguar and 12 Land Rover franchises throughout the U.K.
Penske Automotive Group purchased Land Rover in Darien in January 2015 and added Jaguar in June 2016.
Jaguar and Land Rover has embarked on an aggressive product offensive with U.S. sales for Jaguar Land Rover up 26 percent year to date in 2016. The Land Rover brand, the fastest growing luxury brand in the United States in 2015, continues to grow in 2016, up 15 percent year-to-date, and has announced a new Discovery SUV model will join the lineup in 2017.
The Jaguar brand is one of the fastest growing brands in the U.S. industry in 2016 with a 73 percent year-to-date increase powered by the expansion of its lineup with its first performance SUV, the Jaguar F-PACE and new compact sports sedan, the Jaguar XE.
