With this new location, pressingmatters offers three models of service: scheduled pickup and delivery to your home or business, on-demand service with its new high-tech app, or drop-off in person at the New Canaan store.

With an eye toward the environment, pressingmatters has completely eliminated the use of plastic bags and uses only high-end reusable valet bags and boutique fashion hangers.

As a concierge dry cleaning service, pressingmatters utilizes today’s technology by offering a customer-friendly app for 24/7 demand; order-ready notifications and automatic delivery reminders; and access to accounts online with an easy payment system for quick service.

Michael Weisel, president and CEO, recognized that the discerning New Canaan customer wanted an additional level of service that traditional cleaners do not offer.

Pressingmatters started in 2015 as a delivery-only, full-service dry cleaner, offering all the services of your traditional cleaner. In order to satisfy those customers that still prefer the traditional dry cleaning model, Weisel opened his new storefront on October 1.

Weisel, has owned and operated dry cleaning establishments in Fairfield County for over 30 years.

Born, raised and living in the area, he and his family are an integral part of the community. He supports local businesses and is a long-time supporter of New Canaan High School Theatre.

With ample parking, this location offers clients easy access to the business.

“Our green valet bags and reusable, recyclable hangers are eco-friendly, and, of course, we use no hazardous chemicals. I am excit- ed to develop new business relationships with the residents of this special town,” states Weisel.
