Stamford Hospital To Unveil New Orthopedic Inpatient Surgical Unit

STAMFORD, Conn. — Stamford Health and Hospital for Special Surgery will officially open the new orthopedic inpatient surgical unit in the new Stamford Hospital on Monday, Oct. 30

The 40,000-square-foot space includes new operating rooms, pre-op and recovery areas, patient rooms and a rehabilitation area.

In February, Stamford Health and HSS announced this unique collaboration to expand inpatient and ambulatory orthopedic services for residents of Connecticut and New England.

Leaders on the project will celebrate the collaboration during a ribbon-cutting and press conference featuring Stamford Health President & CEO Brian Grissler and HSS President & CEO Louis Shapiro.
