Three local residents – Kate Simpson, Tina Jones and Jennifer Borden – have teamed up to bring their talent and taste together into a new retail format in Darien.
Town House Finds + Designs features a range of furniture from mid-century to modern, jewelry and accessories for both special occasions and every day.
The collective experience of Simpson, Jones and Borden in the worlds of interior design, lifestyle and fashion brands gives Town House customers a sharp and edited retail experience. The three founders have worked in senior roles for some of the most well-known and iconic arbiters of modern style including Domino Magazine, Martha Stewart and Kate Spade.
Former Domino Magazine senior market editor Simpson has a tremendous knowledge of furniture with a strong eye for mid-century and Hollywood regency pieces. Her endless resources have led her to discover one of a kind finds.
While working as a stylist for Martha Stewart Living magazine, Jones’ passion for design and style grew – whether it was scouring Brimfield Flea Market for props for a shoot or roaming the streets of New York City to seek out the perfect Chesterfield sofa for a photo shoot.
Borden began her career in advertising in New York City working on fashion brands Donna Karan, Coach and Tommy Hilfiger. After meeting Kate and Andy Spade in New York, she moved to the client side and went on to become the licensing director for Kate Spade, where her love of accessories began.
Town House Finds + Designs is located at 37 Tokeneke Road, Darien.
