Max will make two appearances at the gallery; RSVP’s required at 1-866-900-6699 or e-mail at darien@roadshowcompany.com. The receptions are from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, May 5 and 4-7 p.m. Saturday, May 7.

Maxt has assembled a collection of his greatest and most-revered imagery spanning four decades: from his iconic pop art designs commemorating Woodstock to the 2013 unveiling of his design for the cruise ship Breakaway and the Masters series (his interpretive works of Vincent Van Gogh, Monet, Pablo Picasso, Renoir, and Edgar Degas). This carefully curated collection is a museum-like retrospective of Max’s works.

This exhibit also features his iconic and best-known pieces, among them “Statue of Liberty”, Max’s famous “Flag” pieces, “Umbrella Man” and the prestigious “Cosmic Runner.”

Max has painted for five U.S. presidents and his art is on display in museums, presidential libraries and in U.S. embassies across the globe. He has been the official artist of the Grammy’s, five Super Bowls, the 2006 Olympics, the World Cup USA, the World Series, the U.S. Open, Indianapolis 500, New York City Marathon and The Kentucky Derby.

Max emerged as a powerful force in the art world from the prestigious Art Students League, alongside such artists as Robert Rauschenberg, Jackson Pollack, Cy Twombly and Norman Rockwell. The league was a formative influence on these artists’ innovative artwork, and has led each and every one to greatness and an important legacy in history.
