Author Malcolm Gauld Speaking On College Success In Darien

DARIEN, Conn. -- YWCA Parent Awareness and Barrett Bookstore in Darien will host a seminar to prepare parents who have kids entering college on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Darien author Malcolm Gauld will lead a discussion and sign copies of his recently updated book, "College Success Guaranteed 2.0." It offers a straightforward plan for parents to help their new college student not only survive freshman year, but also to thrive and succeed.

Gauld is president of the Hyde Schools, a national community of public and private schools and programs committed to a unique brand of family-based character education.

The first 20 attendees will receive a 10 percent discount on the purchase of his book. Registration is recommended at ywcadariennorwalk.org.
