DARIEN, Conn. – Darien Nature Center will hold its first Chili Challenge on Saturday from 7-10 p.m.
Eleven local restaurants will offer samples for the event, which will be held at the Darien Nature Center at 120 Brookside Road.
Proceeds benefit the nature center and the cost is $75 per ticket. There will be live music and raffle prizes. Darien First Selectman Jayme Stevenson will judge the chili along with Elizabeth Hearle, the executive director of the nature center, and restaurant critic Melanie Bernard.
