DARIEN, Conn. – The Darien Arts Center will hold auditions for an American classic, “On Golden Pond,” on Saturday, Jan. 24, and Sunday, Jan. 25, from noon to 3 p.m.
The stage performances will be held at 8 p.m. March 13, March 14, March 20, and March 21 and at 2 p.m. March 15 and March 22.
“On Golden Pond” is a play that brings together family themes, including love, loss, anger, forgiveness, aging, renewal, acceptance, and more. The setting of the play is in Maine at a summer retreat.
Audition registration will begin a half-hour before the auditions begin. If someone is registered to audition but cannot make the appointment, an alternate audition date may be requested by the director.
Actors should be prepared for the audition. It is recommended that those who plan to audition have knowledge of the play. Actors should be prepared to perform a second audition if requested.
