On March 23, the League is to co-sponsor a non-partisan letter writing campaign with the Darien Library, according to organizers.

The event, called "Engage Your Government," is to take place in the library's conference room from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., organizers said.

"If you have an issue with your local, state or national government, put your thoughts into action by writing a letter to one or more of your elected officials," the League said in a statement. "Supplies, contact information and postage will be provided."

On April 5, the League is to hold its annual Town Officials presentation, according to organizers.

That event is to take place in the library's Community Room, according to organizers, who said a reception is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. with the program beginning at 7 p.m.

Scheduled to speak at the event are First Selectman Jayme Stevenson, Board of Education Chair Michael Harman, Board of Finance Chair Jon Zagrodzky, Planning and Zoning Chair John Sini and RTM Moderator Seth Morton, organizers said, adding that each will take questions from the audience.
