Darien Library Heads To The Beach For Special Event

DARIEN, Conn. – The Darien librarians will host a special event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at Weed Beach, with co-sponsorship from Darien Parks and Recreation.

Those who attend will have the opportunity to sign up for library cards, speak to librarians to gather information and get some books to enjoy on the beach, or anywhere else. The first 100 people to arrive will be given a free Darien Library koozie.

Beach stickers will be required to gain access to the beach and library gathering.
