Oz, an Emmy Award-winning co-host of ABC’s "The Chew," will be interviewed by Dan and Kristien Del Ferraro of OmNomCT.
She will discuss her her new book, "The Happy Cook: 125 Recipes for Eating Every Day Like It's the Weekend."
"Happy Cook" provides the reader with the confidence to prepare easy, quick, healthy and most importantly delicious meals for the whole family, according to a release from the Darien Library.
With Oz's friendly advice, expert tips and inspiring ideas, even the most nervous or reluctant novice will transform into a happy, confident cook, the release said.
Books will be available for purchase. Refreshments will be served.
Oz is the author of the New York Times bestseller "Relish: An Adventure in Food, Style, and Everyday Fun" and the national bestseller "The Dorm Room Diet."
She is a graduate of Princeton University and received her chef’s degree from the Natural Gourmet Institute.
Oz lives in New York City with her husband John and their two children, Philomena and John Jr.
Dan and Kristien Del Ferraro are a husband-and-wife team who are, above all else, lovers of good food, good drink, and all the good times and people that center around it, according to a release from the Darien Library.
In 2010, the couple made it their mission to grow and share that love with their community by launching their blog, OmNomCT.
