Darien Library Hosts Passport Day

DARIEN, Conn. -- The Darien Library will have four associates from the Connecticut Passport Agency on site to help process applications on Saturday, Nov. 22 from 9 a.m. to 1p.m.

The Library will provide all the paperwork and have a space for photos. Passport renewals are also welcome.

Those wishing to complete a passport application should bring their Birth Certificate or Naturalization Certificate, one color 2-inch-by-2-inch photo, a valid photo identification (such as a drivers license) with a front and back photocopy of the ID, and personal check or debit/credit card for payment of the passport fee.

Please note that both parents or guardians must be present when applying for a passport for someone under the age of 16.

If one parent/guardian is unable to appear in person, then the application must be accompanied by a signed, notarized Form DS-3053.

The Darien Library is located at 1441 Post Rd.
