DARIEN, Conn. -- The Darien Library will host a discussion with Kate Mattias, executive director of National Alliance on Mental Illness in Connecticut, on holiday-related depression and stress on Thursday, Dec. 4, at 6:30 p.m.
Mattias holds a master's degree in public health from Columbia University in New York City and received her law degree from Quinninpiac University School of Law.
While at NAMI Connecticut the last eight years, she has overseen the expansion of numerous education and support initiatives offered.
The presentation will be given in both English and Spanish.
The Darien Library is located at 1441 Post Road.
