Darien Library Presents One-Act Plays This Weekend

DARIEN, Conn. -- The Darien Library will present a weekend of one-act plays on Friday, Nov. 21, and Sunday, Nov. 23.

The program of three works includes one-act comedies from David Ives and Christopher Durang:

  • "Mere Mortals" by David Ives, Directed by Autumn Howard
  • "Long Ago and Far Away" by David Ives, Directed by Bridget Cusack
  • "Wanda's Visit" by Christopher Durang, Directed by Donna McLaughlin Wyant

Doors open 30 minutes prior to performance time. Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis. Latecomers cannot be admitted.

Performances will be at 7 p.m. on Friday and 2 p.m. on Sunday. 

An opening reception will be held on Friday. 

The Darien Library is located at 1441 Post Road.
