Darien Native Serves Up Discussion On New Novel At Library

DARIEN, Conn. -- Darien author Mary Simses will visit the library to discuss her new book, "The Irresistible Blueberry Bakeshop and Café" on Tuesday, July 1, at 7 p.m.

Simses’ book tells the story of Ellen Branford, who is determined to fulfill her grandmother’s dying wish. She sets off to find the hometown boy her grandmother once loved, and give him her last letter.

A book signing will follow the author's presentation. Books will be available for purchase at the event. Refreshments will be served.

The Darien Library is located at 1441 Post Road.
