Darien Service Plazas On I-95 Host Food Drive

DARIEN, Conn. -- The Darien service plazas on Interstate 95 will participate in an annual food drive on Friday, Nov. 14, from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Nonperishable food items and frozen turkeys, as well as monetary donations will be collected at the two Darien service plazas. All items will be donated to the Connecticut Food Bank.

“We are honored that we are able to host this year’s food drive at our Service Plazas in Branford and Darien,” Paul Landino, President and CEO of Project Service, said in a statement. “We have currently completed renovations on 17 Service Plazas. As more plazas begin to reopen we hope to continue to host more community events like this.”
