DARIEN, Conn. -- The Darien YMCA will host its inaugural Mind*Body*Spirit Festival on Saturday, Sept. 17.
A variety of the Y’s yoga and meditation instructors, stand up paddleboarding coaches, rock wall guides, and personal trainers, will lead special workshops throughout the day; these activities are designed to enhance the mind, body and spirit.
The festival will feature Master Yoga classes with live music, massage therapy, stand up paddleboarding classes, Aroma Yoga classes, outdoor yoga, Mother and Daughter Yoga, and much more.
Additionally, participants will receive an exclusive shirt designed by luckyoga.
Ten percent of proceeds from the vendors and admissions fees will directly support the Darien YMCA’s cancer rehabilitation program, revive.
Revive is a free, three-month progressive health and fitness program designed to transition cancer patients from treatment to returning to day-to-day living with a renewed stamina.
Festival vendors include: Rhone (men’s activewear), Jea Jea Sport (women’s activewear), Just Breathe Aromas (organic essential oil products), Beauty Counter (skin care), Arbonne (skin care), luckyoga (simple and elegant apparel), and Essential Adornment (natural bracelets).
The event will be from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
