DARIEN, Conn. -- The St. Thomas More Church choir is set to present the annual Festival of Lessons and Carols Concert on Sunday, Dec. 15.

The concert is set to begin at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15 at the St. Thomas More Church, 374 Middlesex Road in Darien. Soloists Terry Eldh, Joan Carlo, Brooke Larimer, David Guzman and Matthew Thomas will join the choir. Galen Tate will direct the concert of singers, an organ and instruments.

Lessons and Carols was created in 1880 by the Bishop of Truro in Cornwall, England, and is based upon an order of nine scripture readings that recount the fall of humanity, the promise of the Messiah, and the birth of Jesus. Admission is free and the program is ideal for family.
