Gingerbread House Fundraiser Benefits The Center Serving Darien

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The seventh Annual Gingerbread Houses and Cocktails for a Cause will take place Tuesday, Dec. 1 at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich.

Each guest receives a fully assembled gingerbread house to decorate, while sipping wine, enjoying a light dinner buffet and chatting with friends. 

Now in its seventh year, the event has grown and seats are filling up quickly. Tickets for the event are $125, with all proceeds going to The Center for Sexual Assault Crisis Counseling and Education.

Serving Lower Fairfield County since 1979, The Center for Sexual Assault Crisis Counseling and Education provides free, 24-hour confidential counseling and advocacy services for sexual assault victims and their families. Additionally, it provides age-appropriate personal safety classes for children ages 5-18 to reduce their risk of becoming a victim, along with education and awareness programs for the community at large.

The event will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. The Hyatt Regency Greenwich is located at 1800 E. Putnam Ave., Old Greenwich.
