Family Mourns Yonkers College Student At Wake

YONKERS, N.Y. – The Yonkers family of Eyyad Amargi, killed in an automobile accident on Thursday night, celebrated his life in a wake on Sunday, according to Fios1.

Almargi, 24, was killed on Thursday night attempting to cross Melville Road in Suffolk County.

He was moving into the Farmingdale State College dorms to continue his studies in construction technology, reported Fios1.

The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene, and is not facing charges, police said.
