Officers from the Springfield Police Department in Hampden County spotted a man riding on the hood of a moving car at approximately 2:40 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 6 with a second sitting on the sunroof of the vehicle while a third was leaning out the passenger side window recording the scene on a phone, prompting a traffic stop.

Officers also recovered approximately 15 ounces of marijuana.

Police noted that Martinez was arrested in March on firearms charges in a case that remains open in Hampden Superior Court.
