The Summer Fun program is a two hour drop-off enrichment program where toddlers will learn new songs, create art, play outside and make new friends. The program is a spin-off of the Toddler Time program that runs through the school year. Families can enroll their children for one, two or three days per week. Children must turn two before the program starts.
Arts and crafts workshop classes are available for children ages 5 through 10 throughout summer vacation. Classes are from 9:30 to noon on Mondays through Thursdays from June 22 through June 25, June 29 through July 2 and from Aug. 3 through Aug. 6. Children can be registered for any number of days each week.
Rowana Shepard will run the classes. Shepard has a Dutch College Degree in Art and has been an art instructor for more than 15 years.
Each class is $50 for YW members and $55 for non-members. Children should bring their own nut-free snacks. Space is limited.
Register for the Summer Fun or the workshop classes by calling (203)-655-2535 or emailing membership@ywcadariennorwalk.org.
