DARIEN, Conn. -- Landscape architect Susan Cohen is scheduled to discuss her new book, "The Inspired Landscape," at the Darien Community Association in Darien on Thursday, Nov. 12 at 1 p.m.
Cohen will speak and sign copies of her book at the event, which is sponsored in conjunction with Barrett Bookstore.
"The Inspired Landscape" features the work of 21 landscape architects from around the world and traces each project from the initial spark of creativity through stunning completion.
Cohen is a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects, practices in Greenwich and specializes in residential landscape designs. A longtime teacher, she is the Coordinator of the Landscape Design Program at The New York Botanical Garden and the founder of its celebrated Landscape Design Portfolio Series.
