Learn To Care For Hydrangeas, Roses At Darien Community Association

DARIEN, Conn. -- Flower lovers can learn all about hydrangeas and roses during an upcoming luncheon hosted by the Darien Community Association.

The Darien Community Association will host a luncheon and seminar on caring for hydrangeas and roses on Tuesday, May 3.

The event will feature Eve Mauger, who will discuss the care and pruning of hydrangeas and roses at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, May 3.

Mauger, an active member of the DCA Greenhouse Group and owner of the landscape design firm Garden of Eve, will discuss pruning and fertilizing as well as the many new cultivators on the market. Weather permitting; the group will take a walk in the formal garden for a demonstration on pruning hydrangeas and roses.

Admission is $20 per person, $15 for DCA members, and includes lunch and dessert, provided by Carolyn’s Absolutely Fabulous Events.
