Master Gardener Leads Workshops At Darien Library

DARIEN, Conn. — Darien Library is hosting a pair of gardening workshops featuring master gardener Susie.

On May 26 at 10 a.m., Wake Up the Library Garden will inform gardeners on how to wake up their gardens following a long winter.

The Edible Garden Workshop on May 28 at 10 a.m. will inform patrons on soil maintenance, pest control and transplanting in a hands-on class. 

Both workshops are open to all ages. Attendees should bring a hat and trowel.
