MoMA Educator To Lead Talk On Art Collector In Darien

DARIEN, Conn. -- Molleen Theodore, an educator from the Museum of Modern Art, will give a guest lecture on noted art collector Ileana Sonnabend at the Darien Library on Thursday, March 6, at 7 p.m.

Sonnabend helped shape the course of postwar art in Europe and North America by introducing American Pop Art and Minimalism to Europe and by bringing Italian Arte Povera to the United States. 

Theodore is the Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Fellow in the Education Department at the Yale University Art Gallery and a lecturer in the Education Department at MoMA.
