New York Sen. Gillibrand To Discuss Book At Darien Event

DARIEN, Conn. -- U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) will visit Darien to talk about her new book at the Wee Burn Country Club on Sunday, Oct. 5, at 11 a.m.

"Off the Sidelines: Raise Your Voice, Change the World," is described as a playbook for women who want to step up, whether in Congress or the boardroom or the local PTA.

Patricia Russo, executive director Women’s Campaign School at Yale, will introduce Gillibrand and serve as moderator of the discussion. The event is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Darien and Barrett Bookstore.
