DARIEN, Conn. -- Marcia Clark, who became famous as the lead prosecutor in football legend O.J. Simpson’s 1995 murder trial, will celebrate the release of her new novel Tuesday in Darien.
Clark, a former Los Angeles deputy district attorney, will speak at an event from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday hosted by the Over 40 Females and Ladies Who Launch at Callari Auto Group’s BMW of Darien Showroom. The talk is also sponsored by Callari Auto Group and First County Bank. The cost is $25.
Her new novel, “Killer Ambition,” is her third in a series featuring L.A. Special Trials Prosecutor Rachel Knight, along with “Guilt by Association” and “Guilt by Degrees.”
In addition to the infamous 1995 Simpson trial, in which he was acquitted of charges in the killing his former wife and a friend of hers. Also, Monday was the 19th anniversary of the infamous Simpson in Bronco police chase that led to his arrest.
