DARIEN, Conn. -- The 20th annual Darien Family Fun Day, hosted by the Holly Pond School, will be held Sunday, Oct. 23, at the Darien YMCA, rain or shine.This fun-filled family event is open to the public and is designed for preschool and elementary school-aged children. All the event's proceeds will benefit the Holly Pond School.
Family Fun Day, the Holly Pond School’s largest fundraiser of the year, will offer a number of exciting festivities, including entertainment by magician Danny Magic, music from Ray & Jay, pony rides, bounce castles, Fun Bus, skeeball and Whack-a-Mole arcade games.
The famous “Melt Mobile,"a gourmet grilled cheese food truck, will be at the event.
There will also be Delicious Heights pizza, bake sale treats, and handcrafted Boylan sodas, root beer floats, Build-Your-Own Candy Bag at the Candy Shop and Decorate-Your-Own Pumpkin.
Additionally, the event will feature volunteer face painters from the Darien Toy Box, volunteers from the Darien Depot, arts and crafts, finger nail painting, and much more.
Tickets are $30 per family.
