The Victorian-era Bedford Hall will feature giant snowflakes and winter wonderland decor. Guests can enjoy cocoa or tea, along with sweets and tea sandwiches from traditional silver service as they listen to Melody James read "The Nutcracker" story.

Costumed ballet characters from Westport Academy of Dance will promenade on cue. They will demonstrate the five basic ballet positions and pose with future dancers for individual keepsake photos.

The fundraiser is organized by event chair Suzan Murphy and her team, and will benefit the Waltersville School arts program in Bridgeport.

The event will last from 2 to 4 p.m. Tickets are $40.
