DARIEN, Conn. -- Ring’s End and Stamford Hospital are the lead sponsors for OPUS for Person-to-Person's annual fall fundraiser, The BigGER Rig Gig, scheduled for Saturday at the Ox Ridge Club in Darien.
The BigGER Rig Gig is a festive and casual outdoor event featuring live music, food trucks, cocktails, games and a silent auction. Last year's event raised more than $70,000 for OPUS.
“For the past four years, Ring’s End has been a critical part of the BigGer Rig Gig," said Lindsay Rogers, Co-President of OPUS. "Their continued and generous support makes this event such a success, and brings so many resources to the people who need it most in our neighboring communities."
This year’s event will take place under an open-air tent, where guests can enjoy live music from Booga Sugar and delicious fare from Melt Mobile, Hapa, the Darien Butcher Shop, Fire Engine Pizza Company and Sweet Chili.
Guests can dance under the stars, play lawn games and enter to win raffle packages, which include a VIP Yankee Stadium experience, a weekend getaway package at Stowe Mountain Resort (including accommodations, lift tickets and a mountain-top lunch), and a sunset sail on Long Island Sound followed by dinner at Harlan Publick.
Tickets for the event are still available. All-inclusive tickets are $135 per person for OPUS members and their spouses, and $150 per person for non-members.
To purchase tickets, send an email to Georgiasolomon16@gmail.com.
In addition to Ring’s End and Stamford Hospital, some of the event's other sponsors include Evolution Air, Callari Cars, Connecticut Green, Palmer’s Market, Pure Barre, Sergio’s Painting, East Coast Irrigation, Darien Disposal Service, and Town & Country Carting & Recycling.
The Ox Ridge Club is at 512 Middlesex Road, Darien.
