Ring's End, Stamford Hospital Support Opus's BigGER Rig Gig In Darien

DARIEN, Conn. – Opus for Person-to-Person, a charitable organization comprising more than 200 women in Darien and its surrounding towns, has announced Ring's End and the Stamford Hospital Foundation as lead sponsors of the 2015 BigGER Rig Gig.

The thirrd annual BigGER Rig Gig, where guests will enjoy a variety of cuisine from local gourmet food trucks, is from 6:30 to 11 p.m., Saturday, at the Ox Ridge Hunt Club in Darien.

“We are thrilled that Ring’s End will once again contribute such generous support as a lead sponsor for the BigGER Rig Gig, and are honored to have the support from the Stamford Hospital Foundation as a lead sponsor for this year’s event,” said Patty Deery, co-president of Opus for Person-to-Person, in a press release.

“The assistance that these two organizations will provide to the local community as a result of their dedication and support of this important Opus fundraising event will make all of the difference in dispensing critical services to the 24,500 clients that benefit from Person-to-Person annually.”

“We value our relationship with Opus and are proud to be part of this wonderful fundraising event once again,” said David Campbell, chief executive officer of Ring’s End, in a press release. “Philanthropy is at the heart of what we do, and we believe that it is important to support organizations such as Opus to help give back to our local community.”

Opus for Person-to-Person helps people receive assistance, including food and clothing donations, money for scholarship and camp programs, layettes for babies, living assistance loans, holiday toys and more.
