RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Singer Roger Hodgson will bring his “Breakfast in America” tour to the Ridgefield Playhouse Jan. 12 for a mini gala.

Hodgson will perform songs from his band Supertramp like “It’s Raining Again," “Fools Overture," “Give A Little Bit," “Dreamer," “Take the Long Way Home" and “The Logical Song."

Hodgson co-founded the progressive rock band Supertramp in 1969 and was with them for 14 years. He wrote and sang most of the classic hits that brought Supertramp worldwide acclaim. He recently received two awards from American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers for his songs being in the top played songs in their repertory, proving that they have indeed stood the test of time.

There are three different kinds of tickets for the mini gala: a Gold Circle for $150, which includes a meet and greet, dinner, open bar and silent auction; orchestra seats for $135, which includes dinner, open bar and silent auction; or mezzanine seats for $125, which includes dinner, open bar & silent auction.

The dinner will be provided by Bissell House, Fifty Coins and Nature’s Temptations.

For tickets, call or visit the box office at The Ridgefield Playhouse, (203) 438-5795, or order online.

I've been counting the days ever since tickets first went on sale :) Every time I see Roger my breath is taken away, swept off my feet into a winding musical journey, more like a full experience than anything else. It's unforgettable and acoustically dreamy. I've already seen him 4 times over the past year, and each time is always more special than the last. I love how Roger lets everyone run up to the front for the encore songs. He's probably the warmest, most open and real musician of his stature I've ever seen live. Hey Rachel K, see you there! This is going to be incredible, count on it!! :)

I am so looking forward to this show! I can't wait to see my favorite artist, Roger Hodgson. I had the great fortune of seeing Roger in September while on vacation in California and WOW is all I can say. Truly the best concert I have ever seen and I've seen just about everyone. I closed my eyes and it was 1979 all over again - except only better. Roger's voice is flawless and the warmth he shares with his audience is unsurpassed. Do not miss his show. You will leave the venue with feel-good feelings that will stay with you for days, if not weeks. See you there!
