The classes for children ages 5 through 11 will be held Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, of this week from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Children can be registered for any number of days.

The classes have a "Use, Reuse, Recycle" theme and will feature presidential projects made with recycled materials, as well as allowing time for free-style painting. The classes are taught by Rowana Shepard, who has a degree in art from Dutch College and has been teaching art for more than 15 years. Her experience includes teaching ceramics, sculpting, painting and recycled art at an after-school program in New York City.

The fee for the classes is $50 for YW members and $55 for non-members. Children should bring their own nut-free snacks. Spaces are limited and you can register online at ywcadariennorwalk.org. For more information call 203-655-2535.
