The ABC in Darien College Tailgating Gala will begin at 7 p.m. at the Wee Burn Country Club. Tickets range from $175 each to $2,500 for a table of 10, and can be purchased online at http://www.501auctions.com/abcdariencollegetailgate. CBS 2 News anchorwoman Dana Tyler will be the emcee for the evening, and Pelley and his wife Jane will be the auctioneers for the live auction. Attendees can also enjoy dinner, a full bar, tailgating games, and music from the Greenwich-based Short Bus Band, which was named the “2015 Best of Gold Coast Local Cover Band.”

Proceeds from the evening will benefit ABC in Darien. For more than 34 years ABC in Darien has housed and educated 45 young scholars who then graduated from Darien High School and went on to earn four-year degrees from competitive colleges. Several graduates and current scholars will also attend the event Saturday.
