DARIEN, Conn. -- Visitors to the Darien Arts Center’s 40th birthday party and open house will have the chance to participate in multiple mini-classes in dance, music and art.
They also can enjoy birthday cake while listening to music performed by the center’s music faculty.
The open house is from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, at the center, 2 Renshaw Road, behind Town Hall.
Information on how to participate in the center's community theater program, DAC Stage and the Annual Darien Art Show and Sale will be available.
Registration information for all classes in dance, martial arts, visual arts and music, including Danceabilities and Artabilities for those with disabilities also will be available.
Department directors, faculty and board members will be there to meet and greet visitors throughout the afternoon.
Free mini-classes include preschool and hip-hop dance, martial arts, piano, a singing class for tweens and a printmaking project for all ages.
