Tickets On Sale For Darien's BigGER Rig Gig

DARIEN, Conn. – Opus for Person-to-Person, a charitable organization comprising more than 200 women in Darien and the surrounding towns, announced tickets are on sale for its fall fundraiser, the BigGER Rig Gig.

The BigGER Rig Gig once again will be hosted at the Ox Ridge Hunt Club in Darien. This year's event is from 6:30-11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26. Tickets are $130 for Opus members and $145 for non-members and include all food, drinks, entertainment and games. Details on purchasing tickets are available here.

Guests will enjoy a variety of cuisine from local gourmet food trucks, including Taco Pacifico, Fjord Fisheries, Melt Mobile, Chicken Joe’s and Hot off The Grille, as well as specialty cocktails from Austin Cocktails and regional brews from Nantucket Brewery and Cisco Brewers, according to a press release.

The six-piece New York City-based band Altitude is set to make its Darien debut at this year’s event, according to a press release.

There also will be a raffle comprising packages including a romantic overnight stay in New York City, a brewery tour for a group of 10 and a private suite at a Bridgeport Sound Tigers hockey game.

In 2014, this benefit raised more than $54,000.

Opus for Person-to-Person is a volunteer group within Person-to-Person that has supported the agency through fundraising efforts and public awareness.
