Les Julian returns to Mom's Morning In at the DCA: 10:00 a.m. An exciting event with the Les Julian whose fun-filled performance with music both educates and entertains. It is for moms, caregivers and grandparents with toddlers/preschoolers. There will be fun activity, perfect for toddlers, offering them a whole lot of fun. $10 per child. Saturday, Sept. 28
The Darien Nature Center's Chili Challenge: 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The event feature eleven local restaurants vying for the title of “Best Chili in Darien” and each will be creating a unique chili recipe to be served at night. The Darien Nature Center, 120 Brookside Rd.
September 2013 Exhibit at the Geary Gallery: 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Showcasing “Reflections of the Soul,” featuring the lush, expressive oils of painter, Liron Sissman. Free. Geary Gallery, 576 Boston Post Road.

Abstract Landscapes: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Paintings by Brenda Jacobsen will be on exhibit. Her landscapes and abstract art are influenced by nature, color and surroundings.
