Movie Mondays: 3 p.m. Teens can take a break from studying for their midterms and enjoy some snacks and a movie. Darien Library, 1441 Post Road.

Tuesday, Jan. 22

Home Decorating Tips: 10 a.m. Design consultant Elizabeth Mayhew will discuss her new book, “Flip! For Decorating,” in which she gives step-by-step instructions for decorating your living room, dining room, family room and bedroom. $3 for DCA members, $5 for non-members. Wednesday, Jan. 23

“Escape Fire” Screening and Discussion: 6:30 p.m. The library hosts a screening of the film “Escape Fire,” a documentary about America’s health care system. The film will be followed by a discussion led by Henri Roca, the medical director of the Integrative Medicine Program at Greenwich Hospital. Darien Library, 1441 Post Road.

Secrets Teens Should Know Before Applying to College: 7 p.m. Annette Bosley-Boyce, author of “The College Success Plan” will share the top 10 secrets that parents and teens should know before applying to college. Darien Library, 1441 Post Road.

Friday, Jan. 25

Tortillas, Tacos and Lime Fundraiser: 6:30 to 9 p.m. Enjoy cocktails, tapas and southwestern appetizers at this fundraiser for YWCA Parent Awareness. Tickets are $65. Kensett Darien, 1 Kensett Lane.
