Monday, Feb. 25

Balance Workshop: 9:30 a.m. Students from the Fairfield University School of Nursing will run a workshop on how seniors can increase their balance and reduce the risk of falls. Darien Senior Center, 30 Edgerton St.

Tuesday, Feb. 26

Author Jane Green: 10 a.m. Novelist Jane Green will discuss her latest book, "Another Piece of My Heat." The book tells the story of a woman who marries a man with two teenage daughters. Cost is $3 for DCA members, $5 for non-members. Darien Community Association, 274 Middlesex Road.

Wednesday, Feb. 27

"Head Games" Screening and Discussion: 7 p.m. YWCA Parent Awareness and the Darien Library will host a screening of "Head Games," a documentary that explores head injuries among youth who play sports. The screening will be followed by a discussion led by concussion expert Michael Lee. Darien Library, 1441 Post Road.

Thursday, Feb. 28

Investing 101: A Guide to Your Investment Options: 1 p.m. Karen Goersch from Price Financial Group will share strategies for informed investing and tips on how to pursue your long-term goals. $10 for DCA members, $20 for non-members. Darien Community Association, 274 Middlesex Road.

Friday, March 1

The Bossy Frog: 10 a.m. Celebrate spring with a concert by Jeffrey Friedberg, aka the Bossy Frog, who sings and plays guitar, banjo and harmonica in this interactive show for kids of all ages. Cost is $10 per child. Darien Community Association, 274 Middlesex Road.
