"Argo" Screenings: 6:30 and 8:45 p.m. The library hosts two screenings of "Argo." The film stars Ben Affleck and tells the true story of how the CIA created a fake Hollywood movie to rescue American diplomats in Iran. Rated PG-13. Darien Library, 1441 Post Road.

Saturday, Feb. 23

Guns and Their Impact on Our Community: 11 a.m. This panel discussion on gun violence will feature Connecticut Attorney General George Jepsen, Darien Police Chief Duane Lovello and Ron Pinciaro, executive director of Connecticut Against Gun Violence. Darien Library, 1441 Post Road.

Sunday, Feb. 24

Darien Restaurant Week: All Day. Darien Restaurant Week begins Sunday. Restaurants all over town will be offering prix fixe menu options in a weeklong celebration of local eateries.
