Bodegas In Darien, Fairfield Gear Up For Cinco De Mayo Celebration

DARIEN, Conn. -- The Bodega team's annual Cinco de Mayo celebrations are taking place in Bodega’s Darien and Fairfield locationsfrom 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Thursday.

The festivities at Bodega’s Darien location will include patron tequila specials, chef’s pig roast, a live performance by PanaMusik, and new this year -- a pop-up beer garden.

The Fairfield location features Bodega’s food truck pop up, a sidewalk margarita bar, patron Tequila specials and strolling guitar music.

Bodega Catering offers Mexican fare with chefs Michael Young and Luis Chavez.

Since 1862, this Mexican military victory against French forces at the Battle of Puebla continues to be commemorated in Mexico and throughout the world, further celebrating Mexico’s heritage.
