"Swimtervention” is a five-day course of private lessons designed to help swimmers adjust to the water at their own pace in a safe and supportive environment.

The personal nature of the one-on-one private lessons allows the swim coaches to help a swimmer overcome their apprehension and the frequent exposure helps reduce the fear that can return after six days out of the pool.

The goal is to get the child comfortable enough to then join a Learn to Swim group of similar age and ability level swimmers as quickly as possible.

Children who are aqua-phobic, have separation anxiety or need to learn to swim for safety reasons can all benefit from this intensive program. The program is designed to take children who are fearful of the water and get them comfortable in the pool through one-on-one swim instruction and encouragement, giving parents the relief of knowing their child is safe while giving the kids a level of confidence that will allow them to enjoy pool parties and family vacations at the beach that much more.

The cost of the program is $150 for five 30-minute private lessons. Parents must commit to five consecutive days. Some swimmers may require two weeks of instruction.
