Call backs will be at a later determined date, and the production will run Oct. 31 through Nov. 22.

“God of Carnage” was a 2009 Tony Award winner for Best Play. Mark Graham will be directing this presentation. He has a master’s degree in theater and has directed more than 50 plays.

During auditions, actors will be asked to read from several scenes. “God of Carnage” is a comedy about an evening in the lives of two couples. They meet to talk about an incident that occurred between their children on the playground and politeness wanes as the evening passes.

The play involves two male and two female roles – Alan Raleigh, age 35-45, a rude, sexist lawyer who is obsessed with his cell phone; Annette Raleigh, age 35-45, who has a career in wealth management, is lacking in self-confidence and is always on the edge of panic; Michael Novak, age 35-45, who is a bit rough and uncouth, and also racially biased; and Veronica Novak, age 35-45, who is a writer of a book about Darfur, is judgmental and has trouble being civil.
