Darien Arts Center Martial Arts Program Awards Nine Black Belts

DARIEN, Conn. — The Darien Arts Center Martial Arts program recently awarded nine black belts to students after many years of practice and dedication.

In photo #1: Front row: Stephen Wood, Neeta Maniar, Victoria Marsh and Megan Wood received their first-degree black belts on Feb. 21. Teachers in back row are Chuck Tsutsis, Robin Glotzer, Jamie Gombos, Bonnie Gombos, Eugene Lee, and Jim Fenton. 

Photo #2: Owen Wagner, Josiah Harris, Tre Tucci and Isabelle Seeman received first degree black belts on May 14. 

The DAC is located at 2 Renshaw Road, behind the Town Hall. 

Founded in 1975, the Darien Arts Center (DAC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing visual and performing arts programs and events for the community. The DAC offers educational programs in Dance, Visual Arts, Music & Theatre, & special events & live theatre performances by DAC Stage.
